Hi all.
I am sure this is probably on a thread here somewhere, but I couldn't find it! What does the price of admission to this event include? Do you get some free food and wine samples with price of admission? I was looking at the details and it looks like the good tastings cost extra money.
Also if I have the AP (which we do of course) are we allowed to use it for this event?
Thanks all and have a great day...

There is no separate admission for F&W. It's included with your entrance (however you do that) to EPCOT. There are additional costs for some of the seminars and exhibits, I don't have the specifics, but I recall a wine-tasting tour /seminar for $5 last year. Let me tell you what we got for free (or included in the EPCOT admission) last year. Fresh fruit and peanut samples on the rose walkway between WS and FW. Two free beer seminars; Sam Adams in American Pavillion and InterBrew at Rose & Crown outside
garden - a bucket of six beers for two people -woohoo!! The rest of the food
and beverage "tastes" range from $2 - $5
depending on what and where you stop.

There are also more elaborate cullinary
seminars and dinner packages that can get pricey, IMO. Hope that helps.

There are also some free wine tasting seminars and some cooking demonstrations (sometimes they pass out free samples of what was made).

The wine tasting seminars fill up quickly. It's usually a good idea to get in line at least 45 min. to an hour before it starts. You are given maybe 5 glasses of wine (about an inch of wine in each) with crackers to eat in between the tastings.

Grab one of the F&W brochures and plan your day accordingly.

I am going to Epcot on October 1st, the first day of the Epcot Food & Wine Festival. Are they doing anything special for the first day? :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking:

Just want to make sure I understand this correctly, The various concerts that will be going on are free, right? You don't have to pay a seperate fee to watch them? You just have to get there in enough time to get a seat?

Thanks for anyones help!

That's correct.

The free concerts are in the ampitheatre across from The American Adventure at World Showcase. They are included in your admission to the park.

Thank you all for your responses! They help quite a bit.....:wave2:
