EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, Sept. 25 - Nov 16 2015

I have a 2:40 reservation at Coral Reef and my deminar is at 5, my question is do I have enough time between the two to not be rushed. Not sure how quick seating and service is at Coral Reef. Should I move my deminar to another day?
I agree with others that you should be OK. If you are worried, maybe mention your appt to your server, for most efficient handling. You could consider getting desserts boxed "to go" and have them after your deminar.

...
Epcot has EMH that night so we would have until 11pm to use the 8 credits. Would you consider it "risky" to book this non-refundable package for our arrival day?...
The F&W kiosks won't be open for EMH. The only one I know stays open a little late is the sparkling wine & dessert kiosk near the entrance to FutureWorld. There may be a few others open late with simple offerings such as the one I mentioned. But no kiosk with prepared food will be open. Sorry.

It's no big deal if the kiosks close at 9. We will still have plenty of time to go through 8 credits:drinking:.

Completely interested in the F&W giftcard! Did she state that it was available for purchase at this time? Or that it would soon be available? Would this be mailed to us or do you think we'd have to pick it up at the Festival Center? I'm assuming that it would be valid for all over Disney, not just the F&W kiosks.

The CM didn't say 'when' on the special 20th Anniversary F&W gift card. She referred me to the Disney gift card website, but there was nothing there (yet). The usual F&W gift card with the wrist strap appears at Epcot during F&W festival. It can be found around World Showcase, same places you would look for F&W merchandise and pins. For sure at the F&W festival center.

I really think there will be an announcement with details, since the 20th Anniversary F&W gift card is an exclusive and pricey item. It would probably have to be picked up in person at the F&W festival center. The F&W festival starts Sept 25th -- more than a month away. Just a little bit more time, and I think we'll have our answers ...

I am headed to the F&W festival for the first time this October. My question is how long do the mixology seminars last? I would love to book one for my mom and I, but they begin at 6. I have purchased the sampler for us for the 2 days we will be at the festival because I really wanted to treat my mom and I know if I don't pre-pay for the treats she will insist on paying. Also she recently had back surgery and the priority seating for the concerts was a great thing since standing in long lines can be a problem for her. She is so excited about the concerts. My sampler says it has priority seating for the 6:45 show. I am assuming I won't be able to go to a mixology seminar at 6, correct? If I can't do that seminar what is the difference between it and a beverage seminar? There is a vodka seminar on one of our days. Do they still do mixed drinks at these? Sorry for so many questions! Thanks in advance and reading through this thread has been very helpful!

The mixology seminars last about 45 minutes then you have to walk to the American Gardens Theater so I don't think you have time

Thanks! I decided to do the mixology seminar on a different night. It's Jack Daniels that night and my mom really liked that idea. We are now spending our Sunday afternoon doing 3 seminars and are very excited!

I have a question and I think this is the place to ask although it is regarding Epcot restaurants.....
For the Eat To The Beat Concert Package, is it only 1 TS credit? The reason I ask is because we have a regular dining reservation for Chefs de France on a tuesday night. It is one TS credit but since we're on the regular dining plan that will include 1 entree, 1 drink (non-alcohol), and 1 dessert. If you book the concert package you get 1 app, 1 entree, 1 drink, and 1 dessert (you get the appetizer, which is more than for the non-package meal) and the meal itself with the package is considerably more than the cost of a non-package meal.

The tables in wonderland brochure description of these events say it is a 2 credit experience.

Sorry if this has been asked already, but does the $59 Tasting Sampler include alcoholic beverages? Are there any known exclusions? Thanks!

Do booths tend to run out of items by Nov 15-16?
I think the food booths prepare X amount of food per day, times the number of days of F&W. So they should be good to go every day, barring a sudden surge of guests on a given day. Maybe special beers or wines may run out as there is limited supply.

As far as F&W gear, the most popular pin(pins) may run out well before your visit.

I've seen them run out of some beers & wines. Also the first year they had the Griddled Greek Cheese they ran out sometime before the last couple of days of the Festival. We usually attend during the last two weekends and they are definitely out of some items. Last year we went to get the plate that also holds the wine glass & withing hours of us seeing those at one of the shops they were sold out.

Most of the beverage seminars are booked for the week of September 27th -- I ended up booking a culinary demonstration. Do you get to try any food or is it just watching the chef cook something?

You get to try a sample of the food and a small glass of wine

I purchased a F&W sampler package with a concert pass for 6:45PM. Does anyone know how long the concert will be? Wasn't sure what time I could schedule dinner for at La Hacienda de San Angel.
