Epcot Flower & Garden Festival???

Really my main problem now is just not having enough time to spend there to justify the expense. I was hoping we could take an extra day off work and have more time but we can't so we would really not even have a full day there split between Friday and Saturday. We have a long haul so it is hard to get there any earlier without that extra day off. BTW I had decided on the Beach Club. It would have been well over $700 for one night and two days for room and tickets.
Don't look at it as giving up the dream just look at it as just postponing this one for a longer one next year. Does that make sense? Thanks for your help and encouragement. :thumbsup2

Well.....yeah. That does make sense. $700 is pretty darn steep when you aren't sure you can appreciate it. I think I was living vicariously through you! :lmao: There is something about that feeling of a WDW trip when you weren't even expecting it! You are smart, though, to save up that excitement for next year when you can settle in. You know, you may even be able to add a day at the Beach Club next time!

I was for sure getting excited about it but just don't think we would have enough time to justify that kind of money. I am actually proud of myself. I usually just go for it and don't worry about what I am spending. I am trying to be better. Been doing pretty good on that for a while now which is a good thing as expensive as it is getting to live these days. It isn't always the fun option but it is the smart option.

Wait, just so you know, don't worry about the Grad Night people taking up hotel rooms/dining reservations. Probably 95% of them are bussed in and bussed out, most of them don't stay at Disney. It's just a one night thing for them, they come in around 9-10 on the busses, and they all leave at 2 AM on the busses.

But definitely don't worry about them taking up a lot of space other than the MK those two nights. I've been there on Grad Nights before (not when I was going to Grad Night), there is no spillover from it, only a very few actually end up staying at Disney.

That is good to know for next year. I wasn't worried about them after you explained what it was. We wouldn't have had enough time to get to MK. Thanks for the great info. I think that is a pretty neat deal they do for seniors.

The price and lack of time we have to be there is what made me change my mind. It is hard when I know we can go stay at the Fort for 7 nights for just a little more. I would rather do that and have a more relaxing vacation then being exhausted before we get on our cruise.
