Epcot Flower/Garden Festival...Historical ??s

I have a question for those who frequent this festival...I notice this year it is scheduled to begin the Friday after Easter...is this always the case? Or does it always begin the 2nd or 3rd week of April and run into the first week of June?

We're considering a trip in 2005, during our kid's probable spring break which should be the first full week of April (4/3-4/9). Easter is on March 27 next year...so if the festival starts at the end of that week, we'd be there to see it. DH loves to photograph flowers and this festival would be a special treat for him.

The festival is from mid april to the beginning of June. It is just a coincidence that it is the week after Easter this year.

It would be unusual for the festival to start the first week of April.
However, it seems like it is a week longer than normal this year so you never know if WDW will extend it further.

The F&W Festival used to run 4+ weeks and starting this year it runs 6+ weeks.
