Epcot Flower Festival Questions??

We will be in Orlando for the week of May 14th thru May 20th. The Flower and Garden Festival and concert will be going on at Epcot during this time. Which day would be the best for us to spend the entire day and evening at Epcot to see the concert and al of the activities? I understand that the Fab Five is supposed to be part of the festivities but did not see a date listed that we might be able to see them. Anyone have any info on any of this event, would greatly appreciate your help.

In May 2004 we went to Epcot and were surprised that Arlo G was playing. We just sat down and listened to him while we waited for the rest of our group. It was not crowded at all. Not too sure if this helps.

Must just be that ol' Arlo doesn't have the DRAW of some performers.

Last year we saw Paul Revere and the Raiders.

Fans lined up for hundreds of feet in either direction.
We got in line over an hour before show time (on two different days).

Lots of folks post the same about other performers in this series.

BTW, these FP "concerts" only last about 30-45 MINUTES each (that's what Disney specifies).

So if you miss the "first one", you won't have hours to wait before the "next one" begins.

The ones we saw were very entertaining (and the PRICE is unbeatable)!

Hi Suzanne!

We are going to be there at the same time and we were wondering what day to go to Epcot too.

As it is planned we think we are going there on the 16th which by the schedule I have seen rather falls between activities! I was really looking forward to the Teddy Bear thing.

We may change the schedule but we have an ADR at Le Cellier and I hate to loose it!

I hear we are going to hear "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"! So that will be fun.

Anything really special that we should make an effort to see?
