It's our first F&G too--can't waitThese menus look amazing! So excited for my first F&G Festival.![]()
better flowers and topiaries - yes.Excited over the menu--might be better than Food and Wine![]()
My controversial hot take is F&W is quantity over quality and has actually been the worst festival for food for a while now. Every year those menus seem to get less and less interesting, with a lot of same-y variations on meat and potatoes. Which makes sense to me by Disney logic, it’s the og festival (remember when this was the only one?) and still the biggest draw and cash cow. So they play it safer and safer, outside a few outliers aimed at the Instagram set. The real inventiveness and creativity is happening at F&G and FARTs imo.better flowers and topiaries - yes.
Doubtful for better food. Love F&G, but generally has fewer kiosks than F&W.
Definitely Maybe No (mostly because just not enough time to hit everything)Lox Benedict on Everything Focaccia
Ghost Mary (bloody mary)
Everything at Citrus Blossom
Grilled Street Corn
Blacked Fish Slider
Strawberry Shortcake
Taco Vampiro
Crab Wontons
Mala Chicken Skewer
Both potato pancakes
Toasted pretzel bread
Muffuletta
Gumbo
Bananas Foster Bread Pudding
Orange Saffron cake
Braised Oxtail
Croissant with goat cheese
Beef Provencal
Beignet
Chocolate Maple Whiskey Cake
Twinings green iced tea with cranberry and lime (my favorite flavor combo for non-alcoholic drinks)
Chicken and Waffles
Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake
Orange Cream Cold Brew
Yeah last year’s F&W menus didn’t excite us much. Maybe 5 or 6 plates that enticed us. The addition of a French Fry kitchen and a Mac & Chz kitchen didn’t help. And the one dish we were really looking forward to after trying the previous year (Corned beef from Fire) was executed poorly and disappointing.
There’s a dozen here on F&G that I’d love to try. How to fit them all into one Epcot dayBreakfast lunch and dinner of course
We need to make a Touring Plan for this.
Lol, almost everything I’d like to try is on Maggie the Cat’s list!

Since they are constantly putting together the items right there, I have usually been successful in asking them to omit something like a spicy sauce or a soft cooked egg etc.I have made myself a list and one for my son who complains they always put "stuff" on what would be a nice item. He has very umm, simple? bland? tastes. But we'll try a few things any way, and have the regular quick service as a back up if he's not happy with the tasty items at the booths.
We went to Food and Wine in 2021 and it was the first time he tried anything from the booths. He still talks about the lobster booth and now we have to go to Epcot on arrival day to have dinner.
That made me curious too. We tried the Thanksgiving poutine back in late 2019 and it was really good! Sweet potato fries with turkey, curds, gravy and cranberry. $8 and humungous, almost enough to be lunch for two. I think the shrimp one depends on how good the scampi sauce is.Is anyone going to try the shrimp scampi poutine?
It somehow sounds repulsive and intriguing at the same time.
I think I will try it.
I’d try poutine, but shrimp scampi is kind of a delicate dish - making poutine of it sounds hideous, lol. When are you going ? I’d love to hear your review, lolIs anyone going to try the shrimp scampi poutine?
