We have a 2 bdrm BWV with a boardwalk view booked. Should I ask for a specific room numbers? We're hoping to get a room just over Flying Fish, Spoodles, etc... This is our first time staying in this room so I'm unsure what to expect.

Any advice would be appreciated :lovestruc

We had a room over the DVC model next to Big River Grille and had a great view of the Epcot fireworks.

The Inn rooms are over Flying Fish and Spoodles (Kouzzina.) The Villas are over the general store, Big River Grille and the games of chance (basketball, ring toss etc.) You can see Illuminations from any room facing the Boardwalk. Some rooms you can watch from your bed, some you have to go out on the balcony. And watching the sun come up over the lake in the morning is almost as spectacular as Illuminations.

Thank you for clarifying. I figured we would be able to view the fireworks but I wanted to be sure as I have already told the kids we would be able to view them from the balcony, see the entertainment, etc.

Each time we walk down the BW in the mornings, we mention how lovely it would be to wake up to see the lake.

Ask for floors 4 or 5. We had a 2-bed with view right next to Big River grill on the 3rd floor and although it had decent view, it probably would have been better on the higher floors. :thumbsup2

The higher and closer you are to atlantic dance, the better the view.
Mind you, you will only be able to see the higher fireworks - not the lower lagoon level ones.

HTH

We had the very "last" room by Atlantic Dance (3001) and even from the thrid floor the fireworks were spectacular!!!! DH kept reminding me of the view every day as I dragged along behind him down that looooong hallway!!! :lmao:
