OK, trying to plan a day-of-arrival dinner and plan since we don't have park entrance tickets that day. We land around 4 p.m. on Sunday May 15, figure we can be to Riviera by 6 pm (renting car) and if we took the skyliner to the Epcot landing zone, watched the Epcot fireworks at 9 pm and then walked around the lake past the Boardwalk hotel over to bluezoo at the Dolphin for dinner at 945 pm. Is this a doable plan? I see I can make a reservation no problem at bluezoo via OpenTable which is a nice option should my ADRs not fall into place.
Specific questions:
1. Can we use the skyliner without park entry? It looks like the skyliner drops outside the park.
2. Where should we watch the fireworks from that area?
3. How long do the Epcot fireworks last?
4. Is the walk pleasant/close enough for a 945 pm reservation from whatever location is best for viewing, or should I book 10 pm?
Any other comments about this plan?? Going to book my 60+6 at 3 am pacific tonight, and if I can get Topolino's on our first night this plan probably goes out the window, but I think I'm not gonna get it based on all I heard. And this plan sounds fun because it incorporates figuring out the skyliner and seeing those other resorts over by EPCOT.
Thanks!
