Heard it could be done (eat dinner then enjoy the fireworks), I have no idea where to look and at what eatery.

Any suggestions?

You have probably heard people talking about Rose & Crown in the UK. However, they can't guarantee a table outside anymore but you can request it. ADR's are therefore strongly recommended. Hope it works out! :)

We've done Rose and Crown a bunch of times for dinner and Illuminations. If you are not on the patio with a sitdown view, they have a special reserved viewing area off to the side. Your server will escort you there about 5 minutes before the start. We thought it worked very well - we were done with our entrees, so after Illuminations, we went back for dessert. Being on the patio is the best, but if you don't get there, its still worth it. Certainly much better than pushing with the rest of the crowd!

you could do CS at the cantina in Mexico. Just get there early for a table. But it is outside on the water

Le Cellier. Ask to be seated in or as close to the window facing the World Showcase Promenade as possible. I don't think they pipe in the sound, but they do turn down the lights. Great view.

There's no view of Illuminations from Le Cellier. You can get up and go outside to watch and come back in.

We had dinner at LC in Sept. and yes, there is no view (there are no windows). However, we left the restaurant at about 8:45 and walked right over to the lake and had a great view of Illuminations. We were right on the rail. The view was partially blocked, by trees, at times, but of all the places we've watched from, we liked this one the best. Now, the night we were there it was rainy and it did rain kind of hard just before it started so this may have affected the crowd. However, it was also EMH p.m. at Epcot so there were more people there, than usual, to begin with.

We've also seen it from the Cantina patio and it's a good view too. You have to get there early though to save a spot.

We have ADR at Bierarten for 8 pm. Any chanc eof seeing the fireworks from there?

Duh. I meant Les Chefs de France! Thanks for the correction, and thanks to DISMOM for reactivating this thread so I could correct my mistake!!

No, you can't see anything from inside Biergarten. Not adjacent to the water, and no windows.

I would like to know also, I had heard that Mexico is a good pavilion to watch from after eating dinner at San Angel Inn. Is this true.

San Angel Inn is completely indoors. The Mexico pavilion has no windows. You would be able to see nothing from there. The restaurant with the view is the Cantina de San Angel, the outdoor counter service area. And those tables fill up early.
