Epcot Figment ride worth it?

My sister & I only ride Figment & Universe of Energy if we have nothing else to do and we are in that area of Epcot. They both are great rides to get out of the heat.

Everything is worth doing at least once. Don't let other people tell you what you will like or not like. Find out for yourself. You might think is sucks or you might think its the best thing there. You will never know until you see it for yourself. It's a short ride and will not take much of your life and the lines are usually quite short. Try not to let others do your thinking for you.

I have a soft spot for Figment ever since riding the original version on our honeymoon. I was fortunate to completely miss the second edition, and still like the third edition well enough. First was better, but I'll still ride it every time we go. I just miss Dreamaker. I'd love to see it updated and bringing him back into the show.

I'm in the recommend you go side. No, you probably won't need to waste a FP on it, but its worth the effort.

You have to try it for yourself to see if you like it. As has been said repeatedly here, it's a walk on ride, so your time investment will be minimal. You really have very little to lose.

Personally, we like it. Certainly not a "favorite", but our kids really like it and my wife and I think it's cute.

I think kids would like it better than say Universe of Energy or Living with the Land. I think it's worth a ride, but I wouldn't use a FP on it.

As others have mentioned "worth it" is totally subjective. I didn't ride it my last few times but I wouldn't skip it personally. You never know what you will and won't like and while I wouldn't use a FastPass on it I would ride it standby. If you absolutely have to cut something from your itinerary I would cut Ellen's Energy Adventure. I think it is also a ride worth seeing at least once but the long window you need for it would make it my first cut if I were going for trying to fit everything in Epcot in in one day.

Its good for kids and its basically a walk on. I wouldn't do it if you really don't have time but again its a walk on. It gets a lot of hate but I like it.

You basically just told OP never to ask for anyone's opinion on anything.

I wouldn't waste a fast pass on it. It's usually a walk on. I think your kids would enjoy it....it's not bad, it's just meh. It can't compare to the original ride which was one of my favorites, and I would love for them to redo the ride and bring back the original

THIS!!
How I miss the original.

We went in August with my 3 and 6 year old, and I had read awful things about it. Other than Soarin', Figment was their favorite ride at Epcot. We actually rode it 2 times in a row and a total of 4 times throughout the day. My wife and I appreciated it as a great break from the heat, and it was funny because the cast member loading us seemed surprised that we were riding it for a second time.

Our kids quite liked it (9 and 5 at the time) and went on it twice. DH was making faces the whole time (which was funny in itself)...but it's for the kids, not us, right?
And with the above poster, they liked the area when you exit.

I agree...no reason for FP. So just try it and see.

Nope... I told them that what someone elses opinion is does not mean anything. If you want to plan your life around other peoples likes and dislikes, feel free to do so. It will be amazing just how much you will miss out on doing it that way. Opinions are one thing, but, in the long haul no one can tell you what you will like except yourself. Besides this is a theme park not a decision on whether you should make an armed crazy man mad at you. It is a small amount of time that many find fun and others find awful... so which advice does one take? See it yourself, worst case scenario... you won't like it and you make a note to self... don't go there again.

That's exactly what I said you said. Don't bother with anyone else's opinion.

Like others have said, you won't need a fastpass for it, but I wouldn't skip it. I think your two year old especially would really enjoy it!

I suppose technically you are correct, however, we weren't talking about getting opinions on anything, we were specifically talking about asking others if they should go on a theme park ride. I think that in that case, since it in all likelihood will not cause harm either way, doesn't really warrant an opinion. You go on it and find out for yourself. Asking someone if it is dangerous to close your eyes and run across a busy highway, does have possible catastrophic results and therefore would warrant an opinion from someone that knows what is likely to happen. That someone still could not tell them whether or not they might enjoy getting hit by a bus.:scared: :crutches:

If we are saying should anyone ask others if they will enjoy anything within a theme park, then my answer is indeed NO there should be no need and the end result could easily be not taking the individuals different tastes into account and therefore preventing them from experiencing something that could be enjoyable to them. :)

Its not all that great, but you walk on and its over in five minutes, so if your there, might as well go in.

Yep, it's worth a ride. It's not that long either & usually has a short line. It's not like EPCOT has a ton of rides anyway so might as well give it a ride.

If you are able to walk on then it is absolutely worth it, as a kid up till now it has always been one of my favorite! However it there is a wait you may consider skipping it.

There is an activities area after you exit the ride, and let me tell you it is one of the most fun places in Epcot. I would plan on a few minutes in there as well if you decide to ride!

My kids love it and wouldn't want to miss it. We wouldn't use our initial 3 FP on it, but have used a 4th/plus FP on it. Even if it only has a 5 minute wait, I'd rather wait zero ;) Really we usually go by there early enough in the morning that there isn't a line anyway.

You'll only need a FP for it on NYE. Go on it, it's not a bad ride.

It's better than tiki room, jungle cruise, and country bear *shot fired* lol
