Epcot Figment ride worth it?

We like it, but beware that it is really loud. My daughter and I are not fans of loud noises!

It's cute and especially has appeal to kids. I agree with others to not bother with a fastpass (or at least not any of your first set), but it won't take significant time out of your day and is fun, so might as well!

I do have to agree with others, the original is much better, but this one is fun too!

Meh is a good description. If you are a grown up. Evidently 8 yo girls love it (at least DGD does). It's a must do for her, and as such, us.

I go on it because as a kid I loved the original 'Figment ride'. I miss the old ride and am not a fan of the new one, but still go on it everytime I visit. It's silly and cute and if I was a kid seeing it for the first time would probably still enjoy it.

Our youngest daughter loves the ride. It is not a great ride, but beyond Test Track, Soarin, and Frozen, there really isn't a ride that needs a FP. I would recommend to ride it as you have never experienced it before.

I think if you've never done it and if you have young kids, they will like it. It is all about using your imagination and Figment is a funny pesky little guy that most kids relate to pretty well. For adults, and especially for those who saw the old version, it lacks a little, but we always still go see the show whenever we are there.

The area after is pretty cool, with interactive exhibits - my kids love the conducting area where you wave your arms to control the music. I think it is worth your time. I would not use a FP for it since it hardly ever has a long line.

My 8 year old LOVES this ride! She also loves the interactive play area at the end. I think for young kids it is definitely a good choice but I wouldn't bother with a FP for it.

We enjoy it. The tune is catchy. It's nothing like it's original brilliance, but I wouldn't skip it on purpose. The activities after the ride are worth a stop for a few moments. Conducting music after the ride is one of my son's favorites!

My daughter and I like Figment - its one of our favorites.

On our recent trip, there were times I noticed that Figment was running a 20-30 minute wait. Yes, that part of Epcot was packed at the time.

The ride was ok, but my kids loved the play/interactive area after the ride. If you can fit it in I'd say go for it

I was reading a blog saying Journey into imagination should be replaced and isn't worth it.
Before I include it in our plans, I wanted everyone's opinion. We have a 2 yr old, 8 yr old and 10 yr olds.
Also, I'm trying to do all of Epcot in a day, so if it's not worth it I'd rather know in advance. Lol
Ok I know you didn't ask this, but let me take it in a little different direction....what is your overall goal for your Epcot day? There is far more in Epcot than can be done in one day. You could easily spend most of a day in Future World if you plan to also do Frozen ride or meet. In that case, I'd definitely ride. But if you want to make it around World Showcase too, you might want to skip it. And worst case, if you skip and decide WS is dull for the kids, you can always swing back by on the way out (if you go out the front). Of course you also have to consider timing with Illuminations too, if that's in your plan.

I love Figment and we always make sure to ride because we're never really confident that it will still be there when we go back :( it shouldn't take you long to get through the line.

You can always watch it on YouTube and see if it is something your children would like. I loved the original and my kids (5 and 10) always want to go on it whenever they are in Epcot.

Do it for the kids. It's not like it's painful or anything. It's just...yeah, "meh" is the best word.

Kinda sucks, because I remember loving it when I was a kid in the 80's. It's pretty much suffered the same fate the whole of Future World has, IMO. I thought that place was amazing the three or four times I went over my childhood to young adulthood. Now? It's kind of sad. I miss The Living Seas (sans Nemo). I miss the "Listen to the Land" song on the Land boat ride...

Oh well. Maybe some day they'll open up a Retro Disney World Park. All the attractions we loved as kids, restored to their former glory. Nostalgia and "feels" for us kids of the 80's.
