Epcot F&W Fest for the nondrinker

My dh and I are very excited about the F&W fest - but my question is - for those who don't drink, what special events do you do? And does WDW accomodate price wise for those who don't drink wine? I drink wine but my dh is not a drinker. thanks!

I can't speak for the special dinners and events that you can register for, but as far as the F&W festival in general, you will still have a great time. They have booths setup all around the World Showcase and there is all kinds of great foods to try. They also, of course, have wines to try as well. They are all priced seperately. As for whether Disney would cut you a price break on the special dinners, I doubt it. But that's not based on experience, that's just my guess. We loved the F&W festival and hope to do it again this year!

My DH does like his wine and beer, but I don't drink at all.
I was thinking of a Sweet Sunday for myself. I too was also hoping that Disney priced things like they do at V&A's where there is a price with and a price without the booze, but I don't think they do that for F&W fest so we'll have to split up when he does a couple of the events...I guess I'll just have to go to the spa at the GF when he does

I am a non-drinker and love the Food & Wine Festival. I love sampling the food at every booth. My favorite activity is attending the culinary demonstrations. I get free samples of great food at each one plus they can be very entertaining. They bring in a lot of celebrity chefs as well as use chefs from different restaurants on property.

I like to learn about wine so my husband gladly finishes my wine samples if I do go to a wine seminar.

I attend the Party of the Senses and think it is worth it just for the food. We don't go to the food and wine parings since I don't drink the wine. These events are more about proper wine and food pairing than just about the food. Since these events are designed to showcase (and promote / sell) wines, it would be unlikely that they would allow space to be filled at a discounted price by non-drinkers.
