Epcot Extra hours

If FW is scheduled to be open between 9am and 7pm and WS is scheduled to be open between 11am and 9pm, then what time does the park close during evening extra hours? 10 or 12?

All close at 12:00. Even though Future World closes at 7:00, the big attractions stay open until 9:00 everynight - Test Track, Soarin, Mission Space, Spaceship Earth. On EMH nights, most of the other FW attractions stay open until 9:00 for the general public. Then EMH starts at 9:00 for WDW guests.

Tip: Although EMH is for WDW guests only the park is still "open" to other guests although they can not ride any of the attraction without a wristband. This is what, I'm told, makes Epcot so busy on the days that have EMH night.

This is true for all the parks. Non WDW resort guests are not asked to exit any park at the start of the evening EMH. Only guests with wristbands are allowed on rides/attractions. The Cast Members are very dilligent in checking for the wristbands. All guests are allowed to shop, eat, just walk around.
I can also add that it's normal for all EMH parks to get more crowded as the start of the evening EMH approaches.

Sure, but MK (and MGM, even DAK) is all about "RIDES".
So, without a wrist-band, it doesn't "pay" to stay too long after EMH begins.

Epcot (WS in particular) is about "strolling, shopping and eating" (and Kidcot).

So MANY folks who can't "ride" (no wristband) CAN stay and do all the other WS things.
That makes it very ATTRACTIVE to non-resort guests.
