I wanted to check to see if this makes sense/is doable.

We are going late August and staying at BC. We plan on doing Epcot EMH to ride Soarin and Test Track. After those two rides, we would go over to HS and get a time for Jedi Training and an A&E sing a long, then go back to BC for swimming/nap and return to HS in the afternoon staying until after Fantasmic.

For late August, is there a decent chance of riding Soarin and TT on an EMH and then getting over to HS before the Jedi Academy signups are finished?

Is the bus the best bet going from Epcot (near TT) to HS?

How often does the bus run?

Does this make sense, or am I missing something?

Thanks!

I am not sure when the Jedi academy is finished signing up but I would guess that if you went to Epcot it would take you an hour and a half to get those two rides done if you got there at rope drop and did Soarin first and then test track in the single rider, after you include the time you will spend walking from one end of future world to the other and then all the way back out to the bus stops. The buses are hard to predict but I would guess half an hour to get from Epcot to DHS so you may not get to DHS until an hour after they open.

You may want to exit at International Gateway and send one adult and the JTA child to walk as quickly as possible to DHS. It's hard to judge when JTA will fill up but if you are wanting an evening JTA session, it may still be available.

It will still take about 15-20 minutes to walk from IG to DHS and that's with cutting through the Boardwalk's pool area.

Thanks for the replies so far. Based purely on hopes, and no real information, I was hoping I could do both TT and Soarin in 45 minutes if we get there at RD for EMH. Then maybe 45 minutes to get to HS and being a slower time of year, again hoping Jedi Training wouldn't be full.

Is an hour and a half for both at RD on EMH in late August more realistic?

It's hard to predict. What if you did one ride at rope drop and use a Fp+ for later in the day for the second ride? If you did the Sing-Along at 6:00 and JTA at 7:10, you'd have plenty of time to go into Epcot to use the Fp+ in late morning or early afternoon. That would be better than totally missing out on JTA.

I'll likely play it by ear whether or not I can do one or both. I'm using my FP+ at HS that evening, but do have a FP+ for TT two days earlier. We've also rode Soarin at DL last year a few times, which I heard is better at DL, so its not vital.

I agree. We are DLR vets and I've never ridden Soarin' @ WDW. Being a Californian, it's hard for me to understand why anyone would want to soar over CA when they are in Florida.

If thunderstorms are predicted for the afternoon or late in the day, do try for an early JTA. The shows get canceled when raining and the kids do a brief meet and greet with Vader and Troopers.
