Epcot EEH when do they block off World Showcase?

We've done extended evening hours before but focused mainly on the front part of the park, so we've never been in World Showcase after hours.

I read that you can't walk from Frozen to Remy and vice versa during EEH because they rope off World Showcase so you can't go past Norway or France.

Is this true? If so, what time do they rope it off? I'm assuming it's open for a little bit to let regular guests.

We are staying at Riviera, and I was hoping to ride Frozen when the line calmed down a bit and then head over to Remy. I'd rather not backtrack, but if they close World Showcase, I guess that's our only option .

Pretty sure they rope it off once the fireworks are done. They need to let the guests in those countries out to be able to exit the park.

And someone can correct me if I am wrong but isn't the patch still open on the Canada/UK side? You should still be able to walk from Frozen to Remy but just a little longer walk....

You can. We always walk that way to end the night because we’re usually staying at a Crescent Lake resort and want to walk out the IG (heck even if we’re not we usually just catch a Lyft back to our resort from BC bc we’re too tired to walk back to the front).

Thanks for the reply. It sounds like I "might" have time before they close it off. Harmonious is about 20 minutes long and I'd assume they give people at least 15-20 minutes to clear out??

So, I'd need to be off the ride by 9:40pm???

You can. We always walk that way to end the night because we’re usually staying at a Crescent Lake resort and want to walk out the IG (heck even if we’re not we usually just catch a Lyft back to our resort from BC bc we’re too tired to walk back to the front).

Yes, this is true. They keep that side open for those exiting through International Gateway.
