Hi everyone. We are staying at Beach Club for our next trip. There is a chance my parents would join us. Last time my mom just rented an ECV from the front of the park. This time, staying at an Epcot area resort, we will be entering Epcot thru the International Gateway. I'm just wondering if there are rentals available there? Or would we need to rent thru at the front of the park?

Thanks for your help!!

I would rent one off-site and have it delivered to the hotel. It's cheaper, and she can use it at the hotel as well.

does rent scooters. There are not as many of them in this location, but you can do it.

As the other poster told you an offsite rental company would be cheaper. For a smaller, portable ECV you can rent one for about $175 to $00/week.

And even from the Beach Club it is a long walk. From anywhere else you would have to get to the dock and then from the IG dock to the IG Rental location (inside the Gate).

Hi. Can you please help me with this. My mother and my family are going to BWVs for 8 nights and my mother will need to rent an ECV. We want one that can go all day in the parks, come back for a break and then out at night.
While we walk to BC or Swan/Dolphin, she will use the ECV. Can you please recommend one that will get on the busses and/or monorails, comfortable and from a reliable place.

We plan on having it delivered to our room the day we arrive and have it being picked up the night before we leave.

Thanks!

What you will need is the standard, full-size ECV. This will have two batteries that weigh about 25 pounds each, and are good for about 25 miles. These are what are rented by most of the companies.

What you do not want, for the use you describe, is the "transportable", smaller ECVs such as the Go-Go series.

If you click on where it says "disABILTIES" at the top of this page it will take you to the Index. One of the top items is the "disABILTIES FAQ" which will gives lots of useful information, including in Post #2 where people rent ECVs.
