Epcot during Happiest Pin Celebration On Earth

I note that the UG designates Epcot as one of the parks to avoid on September 8, and as one of the best parks on September 9-10. However, it isn't clear if this calculation takes into account the fact that the Happiest Pin Celebration On Earth is scheduled to take place September 9-11, with registration the day before. Does the event tend to have any measurable effect on rides/shows/etc., or do the pin traders tend to keep to themselves inside World ShowPlace?

Most pin traders spend the day inside World Showplace since they paid for the event, and just venture out to get food for lunch. The event is limited to 1200 guest maximum, so they will have little effect on attendance at Epcot anyway.

Well, we plan to effect some of the rides while we're there.
