Epcot doesn't open till 11:00?

I'm doing my last week of research and mosting using TGM and I just noticed that some days Epcot doesn't open until 11:00. What's up with that, especially since one of the days in an EMH moring day?

Check to see if Future World and World Showcase listed separately and World Showcase does not open until 11, but the FW will be open at 9 plus the hour early on EMH days.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong....But I think World showcase (the countries) opens at 11 and Future World where the rides and stuuf open at 9am.

Future Word normal opeing time is 9 AM.
Extra Magic Hour would open Future World at 8 AM.

Rides open early:
Living with the Land
Mission: SPACE
Soarin'
Spaceship Earth
Test Track



World Showcase opens later, at 11 AM.
World Showcase exhibits countires of the World.

You are correct, ckret01. Future World is open 9am to 7pm and World Showcase is open 11am to 9 pm. This month, anyway.

TGM breaks up Epcot: Future World (which always opens at 9 unless there's an EMH - then at 8) and Epcot: World Showcase (which always opens at 11). World Showcase will not open earlier regardless of an EMH, but it will stay open later if it's an EMH evening.

Yes, but only certain attractions and rides. You can check out the Park Hours link for EMH for information on which attractions are available for EMH evenings.

where can you find out what days and which parks the extra magic hours are? Do they chnge all the time or is it on a schedule? TIA

You are correct, ckret01. Future World is open 9am to 7pm and World Showcase is open 11am to 9 pm. This month, anyway.

Test Track, Mission Space, Soarin' and Spaceship Earth stay open until 9:00pm everynight. When I was there in May, most of Future World was open until 9:00 on EMH night.

Most of the major attractions in Future World remain open until 9pm daily even though the closing time shows 7pm.
The EMH hours can and do change. You can go on disneyworld.com to check the hours. I prefer the easier to read info on wdwinfo.com (this site) and also allearsnet.com.
