Epcot dinner party

I've read on here that escape brides aren't offered all locations for Epcot dessert parties until last minute. However, if we do a 2 hour dinner party, would we be offered all the locations 8 months out?

If not, we might consider doing wishes instead. Is the Grand 1 Yacht difficult to get 6 months out on a weekday during peak season (Easter weeks)?

Also, is escape strict about having the wedding only on week days or would it be possible (if available) to do it on the weekend?

The location offerings are more about group size than type of wedding. If you have enough people for, say, UK Lochside (20 minimum) you should be able to book it 8 months out. If you call right at your 6-month mark you should be able to get the Grand 1. Right now the only days they offer Escape events are weekdays. It never hurts to ask, but they do seem to be less flexible with changing just about everything related to Escape events.

A somewhat related question. If you have an Escape wedding and add a dessert party, does the number of people have to be the same for both? Could I invite people to the dessert party that I'm not able to have at the ceremony because of the Escape minimums?
