What is your favorite place for lunch? It can be any restaurant or cafe, counter service or not. What is your favorite place for lunch and why?

Thanks! :sunny:

We had a great lunch at Le Cellier in August. The cheese soup is amazing! Beautiful room, somewhat formal atmosphere.

I always love lunch at Marrakesh. The food is different from what we usually eat, and the atmosphere is a little exotic - it makes me feel like I'm not sitting in a restaurant in a theme park.

Lunch is always less expensive than dinner and you get plenty of food.

I like to have a crepe or two from that little stand in France and then sit at the little tables and watch people go by.

If I'm with someone else, we go to Electric Umbrella.

I like to save the WS restaurants for dinner.
:flower:

I'll second the vote for Morroco. It is a must do lunch for us at Epcot. The food is a littel different but not too exotic, and very good. The atmosphere is very nice, and the service is terriffic. A Belly Dancer entertains during lunch too, and this is fun.
Enjoy!

We love the Matsunomo Lounge. We always seem to catch lunch there, with a nice window table, the same time that the character greetings bus rolls in, so we get a show along with lunch.

While I have nothing against any restaurant at EPCOT, I for the life of me do not understand why anyone would eat say Chineese or Mexican food there. You can get that at home. So I would suggest Marakesh also, it is something you probably will not be able to do at home, and the food and service are great!

I can't believe I'm putting this in writing, but we really enjoyed our lunch at San Angel Inn. We had decided to skip this restaurant for dinner because of the rotten reviews. We were near Mexico when our children got hungry and DH said "Why don't we give it a try?" We were seated immediately, our order was taken quickly and the food arrived in less than 10 minutes. Probably more like 5. All four of us enjoyed our meals. The only downside was the Nas-tea Iced tea. Order a coke instead! Have a great trip!

For lunch I love Yakitori House with Tangerine Cafe a close second. I guess I've always been sort of used to counter service for lunch rather than table service.

I feel the other CS locations are typical US fast foods or more dessert oriented.

We like to have a more casual lunch and save the sit-downs for dinner. With that in mind, we really enjoy Tangierine Cafe. They have great wraps that are huge portions and if it's nice outside you can sit there and enjoy the scenery.

In FW, the food court in The Land is the best food court Ive ever eaten in. The Garden Grille also in The Land is a revolving restaurant. Lunch and dinner are served family style (set menu). This is a character meal with Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale, if Im not mistaken. EXCELLENT food and alot of fun.

IN WS~ my fave is Marrakesh (sp) in Morrocco. Fun and a little different without being *weird*

HAVE FUN AND ENJOY!

We love to eat CS in Japan. We also like to eat at Sunshine Seasons, although we haven't been there since the changes. We have eaten in China, but didn't care for it.

DH and I LOVE the ambiance of San Angel Inn (in Mexico). We make it a point to go at least once during each visit. We just order a couple of appetizers that we like, though (Queso Fundido, for instance). The Mexican food served there isn't all that similar to what most people are used to, however. I think that's one reason for its bad reviews. :confused3

I also like to get the fish-n-chips basket in England.

I don't know if I can pick just one.

The Food Court in the Land has always had good food.
Last month I had a Chinese noodle-type thing and it was really good.

Le Cellier is good also. The cheddar soup...well...okay I'm hungry now!!!

The truth is I really don't think you can go wrong

Another vote for San Angel Inn here....something about going in there in the midst of a bright sunny day to the twilight of a mexican night. I always enjoy our lunches there. :wave2:

the tangerine cafe in morroco was my favorite counter service meal-the food was delish and the portions very generous. :cheer2:

My vote would be the lounge in Japan. We love sushi and always take a break from the day and enjoy a meal in the "lounge with a view"! We have, from time to time, had snails and a cheese plate at Chefs de France. Of course, my DS would tell you to get a cheeseburger from America! :rotfl:

Without fail, we always have lunch at the San Angel Inn. It is cool (temperature and environment-wise) and in our experience was never crowded. The food is meh, that is, typical Tex-Mex affair stuff, butnever offensive.

Morocco gets my vote. For ambience we like Mexico, Norway (in the pre-Princess days) and Germany. This year, we are trying out UK.
