I had a question about event guides for dessert parties, do you need them if your guests have park admission and are going to make their way back to the party on their own? And if you had some guests who did not have park tickets, how does that work, is one event guide covered by paying the viewing fees? Thanks :)

Based on my BEO, an event guide is required for every 50 guests. "The venue Package we were charged stated that it included a reserved in-park venue and services needed to prepare the venue. Event guides will greet and escort guests, assist with directions distribute rain gear, maps and/or programs and remain throughout the event, up to 4 hours."

The dessert party was after our reception and they escorted everyone from our venue to the rear of Epcot via buses.

If you have outside photography or cinematographer, they will need their convention media guide and are extra.

We were charged, for that venue package, convention media guide, viewing fee and then food and beverage. Then add service charge and taxes.
