I've read conflicting reports about the crowds during the Food and Wine festival. Some say that the weekends are more crowded because so many locals attend. Other charts have the weekends as the lowest attendance in Epcot. Our next trip is Oct 15-23, need some help deciding on our itinerary.

We were at the Food and Wine Festival on the Sunday of Columbus day weekend in October (the 10th, I believe). We had no trouble with any lines at all. We were there from about noon until 4pm. It may be more crowded at meal time.

Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays are the worse days. During the week you will be OK. Not only the locals, but this is also a favorite for many cast members too! The lines can be pretty long during the weekends.

We were there 10-22 to 10-24 last year. I did not think it was overly crowded at all. We also went to the Party of the Senses on Saturday night. We had a blast! It is a definite must do this year as well.

I was there last Oct. and will be back this Oct. 12-17, had no trouble with crowds. Yes it was, busy, but lines for food and wine moved quickly, the people running the stands had a good system. Nights were busier than days.

We had absolutely no problem when we were there 10/8-10/16...we'll be there this year from 10/14-10/22...hope we have the same luck...my kiddies loved the watermelon juice!!

I was at the Festival the last weekend it was opened in November '03, on a Sunday. It didn't seem that crowded to me at all.

we went to the food & wine festival in november 2003. the food & wine was great & the lines moved fast in the stands around world showcase. during the weekend portion of our trip epcot was definetly crowded though, but during the week no problem. you'll have a great time!

I've read that alot of school groups tour Epcot in Oct., that's the reason for the weekday crowd warnings. I haven't been to F&W since 1997...I don't remember the crowds being that bad. I have heard that the evenings are more crowded (makes sense!) I'm really looking forward to going back this Oct. 20-24!

went last oct 6-12--crowds were not too bad at epcot, lines did move quickly though

We were in EPCOT in October and at dinner time (after 5 pm) the lines for everything were outrageous. By 8 pm it was wall to wall people in the world showcase. I'd suggest that you make a PS way in advance.
