Epcot CP, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day

We will be in Orlando from December 19-December 27th. We thought that the CP package and a visit to Epcot might be perfect for either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Does anyone have any suggestions?

just a personal preference... We did it Christmas Eve, followed by dinner at LeCellier. I can honestly say it was the best Christmas Eve that my family has celebrated. In fairness though, Christmas eve, for us, is a bigger deal than the day itself. What fits in best with your family's traditions?

We had the same choice as you and decided to do it on Christmas Day. We did the dinner package, which I think is an absolute must if you're going to go to the CP on either day. We had dinner at Le Cellier and then went to the 8pm show. It was a wonderful way to end the day.

The reasoning behind our decision was that we knew the MK would be terribly crowded on Christmas Day. We wanted to spend one of the 2 days there and decided it wouldn't be as bad on Christmas Eve and that Epcot would be much less crowded on Christmas Day than the MK. So, we had Christmas Eve dinner at the castle, then did Epcot and the CP on Christmas Day.

Either day would be nice, but be sure and reserve as early as possible!

we have done CP twice...both on Christmas Eve...we ate a early dinner at Garden Grill and then went and saw CP...wonderful!

and both Christmases-we have gone to MK first time(get there when opening) do stuff like Aladdin with no wait whatsoever and then leave about an hour and half after we get there...eat lunch somewhere and go spend the rest of the day at Epcot...Epcot isn't bad on Christmas Day at all!

We did CP on Christmas Eve.. We got rained out, but the thought was nice.
