My cousin is going to Disney in a couple weeks, she said they want to see all the movies about the countries in Epcot. (a real party girl she is!) and I was just wondering if ALL the countries have movies...I have heard about them, but have never gone to one. And if they do all have movies which are the best? There is no way she is going to have time to see all the movies if every country has one. I already told her to do The American Adventure and I have heard the China? movie was good (or maybe it was Japan?) but they are only planning a 1/2 day in Epcot, so I want to tell her the best ones to see. Also does anyone know how long the movies run?

Not all of them do. Besides the two you mentioned (it's China, not Japan) there's "O Canada!" in the Canada Pavilion, "Impressions de France" in the France Pavilion and "Spirit of Norway" in the Norway Pavilion. That's it for movies in World Showcase. As for the running times:

American Adventure: 28 minutes 30 seconds
Impressions de France: 18 minutes
O Canada!: 18 minutes
Reflections of China: 12 minutes 30 seconds
Spirit of Norway: 5 minutes

Be aware that "Spirit of Norway" is shown after you disembark the "Maelstrom" ride, and that's an additional 9 minutes and 57 seconds.

The movies in China and Canada are Circlevision movies and are spectacular to see. The movie in France is on an extra-wide screen and is also breathtaking. The American Adventure is more than just a movie...it also incorporates animatronics and is a true multi-media experience. The movie in Norway.... Well, it's a sad little film that hasn't been updated in 20 years. Your cousin wouldn't be missing a thing if she skipped it. :)

Wharever you do, don't miss the American Adventure.

Impressions de France is really my favorite. I am sure that is the original movie when Epcot opened in 1982. What makes it classic is the music - just lovely. I also just recently took in O Canada, which is new, with Martin Short. I really liked it, and hadn't seen it since I was a little girl. I would make a trip to see that again. Then, last, but not least.. The American Adventure. As a history major in college, I live (and love) for that stuff.

France--one of my absolute favorite things at Disney. The music is beautiful, the scenery is breathtaking. I haven't been to China or Canada in years(and should try them again, but obviously they didn't really touch me when I saw them) but I NEVER ever miss France. Sometimes I even watch it twice in a row lol

American Adventure--not a movie but I love it--and you can hear the Voices of Liberty in the rotunda before the show--wonderful!

there is a great scene in the middle of the France movie with hot air balloons and the alps... I now know this as my nap was interupted last week by a dad yelling at his son. "stop bothering your sister"!
