i read some where that club cool (aka ice station cool - the igloo where you can try different coca cola products) was being renovated. can anyone confirm this?

Now it's a building with some purchase items as well.

In Oct many of the flavors were not working. But still had a small selection but a wait for them.

Yeah, it's open. Have you seen it since they took the igloo and the snow away?

It is open, has been for several months. The renovation was turning Ice Station Cool into Club Cool.

A change for the worse. But still, it's not too bad if you feel like having some free soda.

And I've noticed that in the last 2-3 months they've done a better job of keeping the soda filled than they did during the summer. Not surprising though, considering the summer heat and the fact that it's peak season. Tons of people head in there for some free refreshments.

I was there last weekend. I think every drink flavor was available. A boy told me I needed to try Beverly. I looked at him and said, "I know! It's my favorite flavor!" You should have seen his face, rofl.

I never got to see it as an igloo w/snow -- sorry I missed that ... but finally REMEMBERED to go to Club Cool in November. It was a lot of fun and DH and I tested all the sodas and decided what our favorite was. All the sodas were filled and it was quite busy when we were there!

I would never had known about it if it wasn't for the DIS boards ... probably would have passed it by! And I knew to just take a little sip of Beverly. :teeth:

:disrocks:

We were there in October. Here is a picture of DS after he tried Beverly

At least he wasn't as bad as DS4. He tried to spit out on the floor. :rotfl2: DH grabbed a trashcan and had him spit in it.

Where is this at? I've never heard of it! I'm a Pepsi girl myself but I'll be converting to Coca Cola for the trip!

It's located in the Innoventions plaza, just to the right of the dancing waterfalls.

My DD when she was 5 went to ice station cool and spit the beverly all over the floor ;) Just went last week and she tried it again now almost 9 ( I did not warn her, thought she would remember) and started drinking all the other flavors again to get the taste out of her mouth :)

It was open in October when we were there. DH didn't see any flavors he wanted to try, the only one I was really interested in(watermelon) wasn't working. I think that was the only one that wasn't working, but maybe I only remember that one because that's the only one I wanted! :confused3

We were there in October and everything was working. It is a little different without the snow but it is still a nice place to get a quick drink.

I miss walking through the "snow"/igloo. Last time i went in.....they were out of alot of flavors.

glad to hear they're still open! when it was there, we went to the coca cola museum in vegas (i hear it's not there anymore - just the store) and they also had an area where you could try all the different flavors. there was one i REALLY liked but didn't think to ask if it could be purchased anywhere in the states. does anyone know if that's possible? like the watermelon one (i gotta try that one. i LOVE watermelon anything!), would they know if it could be purchased at a store?

I am so glad this is open. We missed it on our last trip because it was closed for renovation. I can't wait to visit next week!

For a cool (pardon the pun!) Epcot souvenir, you can get a 20oz Coke product bottle shrink-wraped with a special label. Ours has a funky design and the words Club Cool, and Epcot on it. The cost was the price of the soda, plus 50 cents. Check out this Mouse Planet update from 2005 for details and pictures of Club Cool:

T-minus 23 hours until plane departure for our first WDW holiday trip!

The watermelon one is really good, I think it's from China.
Unless things have changed, I was told that the flavors were not available in the US.

I am scared to ask.....what does Beverly taste like? :confused3 :teeth:
