Hi all!

I just got confirmed for October 4th next year at the Canada Pavillion with a brunch reception at The Attic. Just a quick question about transportation for my guests. We will be having about 25 people. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe we need to provide transportation to Epcot and then to the reception after? How does it work with guests staying off site? What would you previous brides recommend we use for transportation?

Thanks in advance!

For only 25 people, I recommend the $40 one-way vans. That way, they can go to different resorts (including off-site) simultaneously and save your guests having to be on a bus for 2 hours while it drives all over picking everyone up. You could also just ask your off-site guests to meet at one of the resorts where transportation is picking up. The big thing is, if you're blocking rooms, try to get people to stay at just 1 or 2 resorts so it's easier to transport them.

Thank you for your quick response! Are the one-way vans booked through Disney? And would I use them for Epcot to the Attic in addition to getting them to the ceremony?

Yes, if it goes backstage, transportation has to be booked through Disney. They can also take your guests to the Attic. Or you guys can walk (depending on the temperature and abilities of your guests, of course). Or you could take a Friendship Boat! (They've jacked the price of those WAY up to $1,100, though, so that might be a splurge.)

We had our offsite guests meet at my brother's hotel (PO French Quarter) so they could all take the bus together.
He helped coordinate everything the day of the wedding.
It didn't occur to me to check with Disney about them parking there beforehand, but we did not have any issues at the time.

This was 2012, so I would check before telling a large number of people to park there.

Just had my planning session today. Our ceremony is at Sea Breeze Point, reception in Epcot, and my planner said all our local/off site guests can park at Boardwalk for the whole day, no problem.
