OK. If any of you have watched her, and I am sure some have, you know what I mean... I have part of her sing-song thing in my head and it is driving me nuts.

She says "Candy, caramel, tastes good, tastes good..." but can you finish it for me. is there a third word for candy at the begining?

I'll try...

Miyuki often says something like this:

"Candy, caramel, lolipop, free candy, present for you, from american corn syrup, animal shapes, tastes good." Then she lists several animals that she makes.

My personal favorite is "Shiny candy, yum yum, for you!"

OK, I need to know more! I have missed this lady apparently. I love to actually get to talk to or at least listen to the CM's in the different countries. She sounds like a hoot!

yeah and she even has a sing song when she is making the last one for the presentation. Something like Last one, no more, last show today, no more candy

We like it as she makes the "arms" she says, "I make candy for you, candy says HELLO, candy says HELLO!"

and she always said, " wake up!, wake up!" to the animals as they were being formed!!! :sunny:

How do you find her? Is she on a posted schedule? :teeth:

Me and DH often get each other giggling by saying "American corn syrup...tastes good"

If you have never seen her, by all means GO! Our kids stood so quietly and they were the first ones picked to have candy made (a dog and a horse)

Does anyone know the times and or days that she is "open" so to speak? We are going down with friends that have three kids and I think they will get a kick out of her.

OK, I've looked this up for this trip, but I don't have my schedule with me. I know one of the times is 2:15 and another 4:00. She does not work on I "think" Friday and Saturday. For exact info, go to "allearsnet", then click on "planning", then scroll down the side bar to "links". Scroll down until you see "Steve Soares Site" in the descripton. Click on that, then on his site look under Epcot, all the activities for Epcot are on that page including the candy lady.

I love seeing her!! I love when she says "Happy candy, wake up candy!" and all of sudden she has done an amazing piece. She is sooo creative with her candy sculptures. :)

We saw this, but she didn't say a word while she worked---I don't think it was the girl in the photo above--that girl sounds fun!! :teeth:

Hi,

Does you give the candy to the children or can you buy her creations?

you can not buy them. She picks people who are watching, she has a list of animals she will make. You tell her which one you want and she makes it. It takes her a few minutes and while she makes the next one yours has to dry/harden. They are really pretty. She makes animals till her candy is gone.

Thanks. We are traveling with friends on our next trip and I think their 8yr old will get a kick out of this.

if a child is pushy or rude, she will not pick them to get a candy. My kids waited patiently, just watching, as we happened upon her (we had never heard of her). Well, they did not get a candy, and were fine with that, and her time was up (the times are listed on the daily schedule). We walked over to see a different street performance, and her next time started, so when she came back again, my kids walked over to watch again. (they were not enjoying the other show). Anyway, as soon a she saw them, she made a point to choose them, she said that they were patient and waited, so they got to go 1st this time. I saw many children being rude and pushy, and she would tell them, no candy for you.... you did not wait nicely!!! :)
