Epcot Background Music

We just returned from another WDW visit this week and I noticed some background music I have never heard before either because I wasn't paying attention or because it's new. We were in the France Pavillion in Epcot waiting in line for a Grand Mariner Slush right before Illuminations was going to start and there was bagpipe music playing over the speakers. It played two nights in a row at around the same time. Does anyone know if this is pre-show music or music from Bistro De Paris and if so, what is the title? Thanks in advance!

I think that music is just played prior to Illuminations. The rest of the day it's BGM themed to the France pavilion.

Yes its Illuminations pre show music, starts every day at 8.30. I know the exact part of the music you are talking about, not sure if it can be bought or downloaded anywhere but I agree it is good.

If you're referring to the music played every night before Illuminations, you can find a list of that music here. The tune with the bagpipes is the Busindre Reel by Hevia.

That list has been edited since the last time I saw it. I know this because I downloaded the music from iTunes and my playlist currently has more tracks than the Wikipedia article.

One of the Disney stations on http://www.live365.com also plays it. Love to while at work, but just have to turn it down when IASW comes on!
