Epcot Aug 29 or 30

So, I am one of the insane ones who has a trip booked for the opening of Star Wars Land, which happens to be the same week Food and Wine opens! Yay! Anyway, it is a quick trip, and I can either do Food and Wine opening night, or the next night, which is Friday. Is either night a better choice or will both be crazy?

I've been to many a Food and Wine on Friday night, so I know how those are but I'm guessing opening Friday will be even more so? Will opening night be the same? I'm staying at the Swan with my sister, and plan on being in the park for Illuminations anyway so I'm not to worried about the crowd. More wondering if I wanted to hit the booths if one night was better than the other. TIA!!!!

I don't have first hand experience but I would go for Thursday night in hopes that the bloggers that hit Flower and Garden during the day were home editing their media files at night to get them on the web ahead of everyone else I would crowd surf the craziness just to see illuminations one last time and go Thursday in case I couldn't get a satisfactory view at least I'd have a second shot on Friday. Enjoy and let's hope the new show is a worthy successor.
