EPCOT at night

I see Future World closes at 7:00 and World Showcase closes at 9:00 most nights.

Are Soarin', Test Track, and Honey I Shrunk the kids open until 9 or do they close at 7?

If they do stay open until 9, are there usually any fast passes left after 7?

The major rides in Future World stay open: Soarin', M:S, TT, SE, and HISTA (I believe that's all of them). And usually the Fastpasses for Soarin', M:S, and TT are gone by mid-afternoon. But if you have a FP for a later time (like 8:30 or something) you can definitely still use it.

Soarin', Test Track, Space Ship Earth, and Mission:Space normally stay open until 9pm.
Honey I Shrunk the kids (make that AUDIENCE) is not usually open late except for EMH nights.

FP's go in greater number for Soarin' and TT than for any other Epcot attraction.
It varies as to whether they will RUN OUT on any given day.

We arrive on a Tuesday and will get to DW around 5:00. We were wondering if it would be worth going to Epcot that first night or not - Soarin' TT and HISTA would be the main reasons we'd go. We're spoiled by FP, and waiting in really long lines would not appeal to the family too much.

Do you think it would be worth going the first night?

Unless it's an EMH night I would not bother. The FP for Soarin' and Test Track will be long gone before you arrive and the wait times will be insane. If you can use the single rider line at TT the wait would be a lot less, but still a while.
Last June Mission: Space was a walk on anytime we were there, morning and evening. I am not sure about the wait on HISTA or FP.

Last year, since we were staying at the BCV, we wanted to go to EPCOT on our first night at WDW. We got into MCO around 3:30pm. However, by the time we checked in, waited for our luggage to come up from the lobby, and went to the store it was close to 7:00pm. We were tired from the day but still went to Epcot. It was busy and crowded, and no fastpasses. We are going again this year, but instead we are going to enjoy a dinner and a swim at the resort on that first day.

Friends of mine did this in January, they arrived around 4pm, we grabbed a bit to eat off site and then headed to EPCOT... I was not really sure why (I have an AP so didn't matter), but they wasted 1 day of admission for 4 family members (one has AP), for only a couple hours, and very few rides - SOARIN' - no FP, Test Track was closed, etc. As another poster mentioned unless it's an EMH night, I would do something else!!!!

I think its kind of IMPORTANT, before we all jump to answer a question like this, to find out exactly WHICH "Tuesday" we're talking about.

If its the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, the answer will be a bit different than if its, say, Tuesday, July 4th.

;)
