I'm trying to get all of our prospective meals picked out for our trip. The next month is going to be insane, and I have to deal with 8 people. Yeah right-this is all going to be on what I will eat lol. So here's the deal: I've figured out our MK day and DHS day. I'm pretty sure I know where we'll eat our arrival day (plus backups) but I'm debating hard on the Epcot day. What are your opinions on these options?

Biergarten-DH would love me forever, but I feel like we can get better German food elsewhere-like his grandmother....

Akershus-I like here, but we're already planning on going to CRT. Might be princess overload for everyone but me, and my friend's 2 girls.

Le Cellier-we'd have to get lunch here because I'm not doing the 2TS thing, and this would be a minor miracle!

Coral Reef-um....?

Tutto Italia or Via Napoli (leaning more toward Via Napoli)-never been but we all like Italian

Cape May Cafe-I really want to try this out, so if not this day, maybe our AK day because we're not eating in that park.

Anywhere else? Maybe I'm missing something delicious.

Garden Grill, Morocco, Japan, China, Mexico and Kouzzina are all out for various reasons. Thanks!!

If you have a large party like that, the teppan tables at Teppan Edo in Japan are a great choice. Rather than share tables with other parties, your group should be able to all sit together. It would kind of be like having your own private Teppan chef putting on a show for you.

We didn't stop their on our last trip, but people rave about the place and love the food. Plus, the Japan pavillion is beautiful. It's my favorite stop in the WS.

I second Teppan Edo, especially with your group's size. Coral Reef is good, haven't been in a couple of years though, but the food is very good and watching the fish in the tank is very entertaining. If you have kids in your group, then I highly recommend it.

Teppon Edo bc of the size of your group. Its probably the easiest and most fun.
I really enjoyed Tutto Italia and Via Napoli as well.

We ate at Biergarten a couple years ago and really enjoyed the entertainment. The food was decent. We did Coral Reef this year and loved it. The aquarium was so neat to watch and the food was delicious. It's definitely on our consideration list for next year. We haven't tried Teppan Edo yet, but I've heard wonderful things about it too.

We ate at Coral Reef a few weeks ago and really enjoyed the experience. The ambiance is awesome, and the food was yummy. We also like the Princess interaction at Akershus - lots of individual attention. We've only tried breakfast, and it didn't offer anything extraordinary, but it was a nice start to our day.

Thanks for the suggestions, but anything in Japan is out. Of the 8 of us going, 6 of us currently live or have lived in Japan. None of wants to eat somewhere that we can get better at home and in that country. I've heard good thingsnabout Biergarten but Dh's mom and grandma are from Germany so I'm worried it won't be as good. Would it be worth a trip for close to authentic food?

We really like Coral Reef with that being said we at at Cape May Clambake end of October and we LOVED LOVED LOVED it!!!

We have to go to Biergarten every trip. Hubby's grandparents are from Germany, and the last time we took hubby's mom who goes to Austria/Slovakia every other year to visit her relatives, she LOVED it, even if it wasn't quite as good as what she gets there. I'm incredibly picky and not a HUGE fan of most of the food there, but I crave the cucumber/tomato salad, and the desserts are TO-DIE-FOR! And what they may lose in the food, they make up for in the entertainment. We absolutely love it! Planning on getting the hubby to get out and dance with me this next trip! There will definately have to be lots of German Beer involved! :rotfl:I say GO FOR IT! I

Hmmmmm I may have to definitely consider this then! I hate to do ANOTHER buffet, but it might be good :) Thanks!

Tutto Italia is quite good. Never been to Via Napoli

The Coral Reef is good and I dont eat fish, my wife absolutely loved it

I like Teppan Edo the best. I'm also a fan of San Angel Inn

just a suggestion- If you can't get anything at EPCOT but this one is also hard to get sometimes.
Jump on the momorail to trans center then mono to Poly and eat at Ohanna, this is a lot of fun for a bunch of people, was just at Biergarden a week ago and the food I don't know, have better German food at home.
