My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon in Disney World, and I'd love to surprise him by signing us up for the Epcot Aqua Seas Tour. My fiance would live in an aquarium if he could. Does anyone who's done it have any tips or reviews they'd like to share? I search the forum, but it looks like everything about it is several years old.

I have two concerns about the tour:

- My fiance is a big guy (6'2, 330 lbs). I know you're supposed to use all their equipment. Will they have big enough masks, wetsuits, and fins for someone his size? Should I have him buy his own mask in advance since that's the one thing they let you bring in? (We're also going to the ocean, so it won't spoil the surprise.)
- I'm pretty much blind without glasses, and contact lenses aren't a possibility. I've heard of two options, either taking the legs off an old pair of glasses to put inside the mask or buying a prescription mask. Does anyone have any experience with either?

Thanks!

I've been on the Aqua Seas Tour twice, once in March 2015 and once in February 2014. I loved the tour and found the guides extremely helpful with the technical aspects of equipment and snorkeling in general. They provide all equipment, right down to optional hair ties for us women. I went with my 6'2" boyfriend and my 9 year-old son, and they had fitting wet suits for all of us. They also have wet "short suits" that don't cover the lower arms and calves (the aquarium water is chilly but not freezing) that might be most appropriate for a larger person. But if you're in any doubt, call Disney. Ask for the question to be answered by someone in the program, so you don't just get an assumption from a telephone worker. They might have to get back to you with an answer, but they should be able to give you an answer within a few days. Better safe than sorry.

The Aqua Seas Tour was a special experience for us and I hope it will be for you, too. You'll never get to see so much sea life while snorkeling as you will in the Epcot aquarium, and it's cool to actaully be inside it, while aquarium guests and diners at Coral Reef watch. There's a big hidden Mickey in the aquarium, too.
