Epcot and MK questions

1. Does anyone know where in the world showcase the bus of characters comes to? and the times they typically arrive?

2.i usually miss the parades because i don't like to wait for them and fear someone will crowd me out of a prime spot. where other than main street in MK can you watch a parade? do they start at the castle or in one of the lands? is there a place that's easier to line up for them than main st.?

2) it either starts or finished on main street. can't tell before which it will be.
Frontierland is generally less crowded.

I've only seen the bus of characters at Epcot at park opening time. In the front of the park by the Leave a Legacy walls. Maybe someone else knows more on whether they go back to the world showcase and when.

All of the parades in MK run from Frontierland towards the castle then down main street finishing close to City Hall. I have heard that at times it might start at City Hall area and finish at Frontierland, but the route is the same. We find going in Frontierland is much less crowded.

1) The character bus comes into the Japan pavilion. I don't know what time but it's pretty obvious because music starts playing and everyone crowds around. Alright, I found the times that the character bus comes around.
Future World Pin Central: Sunday & Tuesday-Saturday at 9:05am
Spaceship Earth: Sunday & Tuesday-Saturday at 10:10am; Monday at 9:05 & 10:10am
Japan: Daily at 12:20pm
Showcase Plaza: Daily at 11:15am(not Thursday), 2:05, 3:10 & 4:15pm

1) I have seen the bus first thing in the morning right under Spaceship Earth and then in the afternoon just across the bridge from FW; check the Times Guide and it will tell you where and when to find the characters. I found the following on http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/

2) the afternoon parade starts in Frontierland and ends on Main Street--if you catch it near the start you will be able to take advantage of shorter lines on some rides since lots of people are still watching the parade but I think there is some fun stuff that goes on when the parade gets to Main Street. Spectromagic is just the opposite--it starts on Main Street and ends in Frontierland. All the parade routes are on the park maps. HTH
