What do you think of these Epcot restaurants? I'd love to try some new places on my next trip, but my DH is reluctant to go to a $$$ place in WDW that we could get for less $$$ at home (namely mexican and japanese).

The Garden Grill
Teppanyaki (lunch and dinner)
San Angel Inn (lunch and dinner)
Spoodles
Flying Fish

Do you have any favorites? Can you tell me your experiences and why they're your favorites? I'd appreciate any reviews I can get. Thanks!

Spoodles is very good. We really enjoy dining there. We also love Flying Fish (a little pricier). Both serve excellent food and have excellent service.

Cape May Clam Bake is also another less expensive restaurant in the area. We dine there every trip.

I really enjoyed the Rose and Crown in the UK at EPCOT.

These are three of our very favorite places in the wole world! We've eaten pretty much everywhere and these are three places that my husband is always asking to go back to.

If your worried about the price at World Showcase restaurants you should try and get a lunch seating. The lunch menus are about the same as dinner and the prices are alot cheaper.

Here's some good eats with my reviews:

Le Cellier - Beer Cheese Soup
Chefs De France - The French Menu
Alfredo's - Nice and Filling (Try not to walk to much after this one)
San Angel Inn - My new favorite, fantastic atmosphere and a great lunch menu
Beaches and Cream - Pretty cheap and good old unhealthy burgers (LOL)

Of the ones your mentioned, I have only eaten at Spoodles. 5 of us ate there and we all enjoyed it. The food was very good. We went there on a Sat. evening without PS in March and waited only 15 minutes. I would not hesitate to go there again.

Flying fish is pricey, but it is definately worth it. They have some of the best steak on disney property, fish is outstanding..great wine list, wonderful atmosphere..excellent service.

San Angel Inn, we like this best for lunch...the food/atmosphere are wonderful. Take a quick trip on the boat river ride first..then enjoy a relaxing lunch, waterside, enjoy the mariachi band.

Garden Grill..food is just ok....there is much better on disney property.

Spoodles..it has been a while since we have eaten there.eBreakfast used to the be the best on disney property...dinner was very good. When they changed chefs and took away the wonderful breakfast menu, we stopped going there. Guest services put us in touch with the chef, she was quite rude..and had a I can do anything I want to attitude...not caring at all about her regular customers.

Spoodle's - our very favorite restaurant at WDW. We eat there every trip .. usually two or three times!

Teppanyaki - was not impressed .. better food, cheaper, and better chefs at the local Japanese steak places. We will not go back.

San Angel Inn - first time we went, we loved it. The place is beautiful and food was good. Second time, the CM seating folks had a terrible attitude and stuck us right by the bathroom. I asked nicely to more and she blew up. Food was only so so. We probably will not go back for awhile.

We haven't eaten at the Garden Grill since the early 90s. The "revolving" gave DD a funny feeling and she doesn't want to go back.

We haven't eaten at Flying Fish, but hope to soon. It is a beautiful place.

Hope this helps!

Scanne, are you only interested in dinner dining? I'd like to recommend the breakfast buffet at Cape May in the Beach Club. We love it and in our opinion it's the best breakfast buffet in the World.
