Epcot Agent P Can't use MB

Went to Italy Agent P station and was asked for my KTTW card to receive the phone. I offered my Magic Band because it was handy, but they couldn't use it. I had to have a KTTW card for them to swipe.

Feel sorry for cardless POP guests this week who want to do Agent P adventures. We had a great time with it!

That would suck for anyone staying at POP and had that in their plans especially if they only had one Epcot day planned because I am sure that is not something that is mentioned at check in. Our DS enjoy it as well.

I really hope this is fixed when we travel in January. My kids had a great time with this, but only got to a few of the quests. Maybe I can bring an old KTTW card for that, too.

I think even at POP you can still request a KTTW card. It just won't work in the FP machines. But if don't read about it online, you would never know until you got to the park. Wonder if you get one of the ones that won't pull FPs at GR in Epcot.

And another thought. What is going to happen when all resort will be MB only, which may be happening very soon. Seems like Disney didn't think about this

We played Thursday and they saw we had magic bands and didn't ask for KTTW cards. Instead they swiped a paper ticket that said fast pass on it. I thought it was strange at the time, but they had a stack of them sitting there. When we got to Norway we asked if we could change the next mission to China instead of Norway and she asked if we used our room cards and I said no, the original cast member swiped a card. So the new one said ok, grabbed one of those fast pass paper things and swiped it.
I think they are equipped to still allow guests to play without a KTTW card....

We did the Pirate's Adventure in MK last month and we couldn't use MB there either. Luckily we had AP's and KTTW we could use.

Same for us just today, and the CMs sad that "MB are supposed to work, but they just don't"
