epcot after dark

have ressie at ssr in 4/07, want to go to epcot 1st night for dinner and illuminations (on dde plan); did, or doesn't epcot have a discounted ticket price for after 4pm (maybe 6pm) admission? i know on dde that park ticket price is needed, but parking is free with epcot dining. is there any other better, ie cheaper way of getting into epcot for dining (for 5 guests)? i am a dvc member, if that counts for anything.
still want to know if poolhopping will be available at the new VAKL pool when its built.

if you want to eat at Epcot you will need a park ticket. I don't know of any other way cheaper. That's why we always use the AP's . We can go if we want and not waste a day ticket just to eat.

There is a florida resident after 4 Annual Pass. Take a look at ALL Ears, http://allearsnet.com/pl/florid1.htm

I think there use to be a resident after 4 day pass too, back in like 1988. But I'm not sure. If it did exist, it doesn't seem to to exist any more.

There hasn't been any official statement on this yet which isn't surprising since the pool doesn't exist yet. The pool at AKL is excluded from pool hopping so I wouldn't be surprised if they extend the ban to the pool at AKV.

I did read somewhere a while back, that if you are with a convention, there are convention tickets for after 4pm. Are you down on business with a convention?
