Does this annual pass qualify the holder for entitlements to regular AP discounts and the benefits therein?

We have had this pass in the past. We did not use it for obtaining AP discounts on resorts because the Fl Resident rates were always the same as the AP rates and were more easily available. We did receive the Mickey Monitor newsletter in the mail that regular AP holders get. What AP perks are you looking to use?

discounts? I have read online that it is lunch only and called to confirm this with one WS resturaunt, so I am getting the DDE card instead. It seems as it can be used to get a better discount (20%) anytime except Christmas. If you are going for a longer trip or eat at more expensive meals in the parks during the year, it may be well worth the $50 to you.

I was curious about both the room discount and the meal discount. Thank you both for your replies. I have always been able to get a Fl. Resident rate in the past but believe it or not, we are booked at POP for 10/7 - 10/9 and I was unable to get Fl. resident or AAA for that weekend. They said no discounted rooms available for our hotel as it was near capacity by the time the discounts were released. Times are changing, for sure!
