I know it's here somewhere but sorry I can't find it.
Going from EP -( Mexico Pavillion) to HS. Noon this August. Bus, Boat or walk?
Issues with the Skyliner construction? Heading for a SWEG AP preview at 1PM - any additional issues there?

The bus will be a quicker ride. After arriving at the bus area at DHS, there is about a 10 minute walk, depending on which bus slot is used (don't remember), to get to security. Buses run every 20 minutes.

The FriendShip boat from the International Gateway runs about every 15 minutes, and the ride makes three intermediate stops on the way to DHS. Actual travel time is about 35 minutes from Epcot to the dock at DHS. From the dock, it's only about a 5 minute walk to security.

From the MX pavillion at EP, I would think that the walk to either the bus or boat is about the same distance.

With either option, I would allow one hour, which includes a possible 15-20 minute wait for a bus or boat. There is no issue, right now, with any Skyliner construction, which is near the IG. If the weather is rainy or very sunny/hot, I would choose the boat, as there is some overhead shelter. The boats will not operate if there is lightning in the area.

From your location at EP, I don't think you would save much time walking to DHS, and if the weather is not the best, you could be caught on the walking path, without shelter.

Mexico is about equidistant from both front entrance and IG.
Once you are outside the park:
Main entrance - bus is about five minutes, but wait time can be up to 20 minutes. Rideshare about five minutes once it arrives. Ditto for MinnieVan.

IG - boat is fastest if there's one waiting or approaching.
If you just miss a boat, walk over to the Yacht Club dock. Boat goes to Boardwalk first, so you should beat it. If you don't know where the boat is, walk. About 25 minutes, unless you want for a boat.

No interference from/with Skyliner.

Thanks all! I guess I'll wait on the weather to decide and leave at least an hour.

I would 100% take the boat/walk. The reason I say this is if you get to the boat dock and nothing is there you can start walking, you might catch it or at worst you have a 1 mile walk from the boat dock at Epcot to HS.

On the flip side if you get to the bus stop and you just missed a bus your only recourse is to just wait on the next bus. (Other than call uber/lyft which you didn't call out)

The fastest way is to get an Uber/Lyft/Minnie Van - whichever would come first.

If you have a good pair of running shoes you could do a dead sprint from the IG at Epcot. I'm thinking 4-6 minutes tops depending on your top speed.

We always walk it. We can do it in about 15 to 20 min. according to whether I'm setting the pace or my adult son is setting it.
