We are headed to Universal over thanksgiving week for a bonus trip - we were there in the spring and stayed onsite and had an all out awesome trip and were able to convert our tickets to seasonal APs for no cost. We own DVC and are planning on staying there for the majority of our trip and spending 1.5 ish days at Universal, aka this was supposed to be a "cheap" trip. But the siren song of Express Pass is calling me, what are crowds like this week - specifically the Tuesday and Wednesday before thanksgiving?
We were there over Easter week in the spring and I have to say I wasn't super impressed with EP - most attractions it wasn't needed since they were less than a 10-20 min wait and the ones where we could use it the waits were still quite long with EP - aka 50 mins for minions. But that was back before you could use EP for Harry Potter attractions. This trip we have less time in the parks, so wondering if EP is worth it to get more done. It's $200 for a room at RPR that would give us 2 days of EP. Needed or no?
