Right...they opened the turnstiles 45+ mins. before actual rope drop and then just let ppl go wherever they wanted...no more hurry up and wait for the next rope junk. What were they doing before today? We’re they just letting everyone in from the gates and not holding you? Wonder why the change?
How does this affect the international gateway entrance?

We enjoyed that 2 months ago. Liked it much more than getting part way into the park and then being help in a giant mob until they open the park.Right...they opened the turnstiles 45+ mins. before actual rope drop and then just let ppl go wherever they wanted...no more hurry up and wait for the next rope junk.
Similar experience in April. We could tap in, but then held at the bridge by the UK. Let in at 10:15.That article is kinda misleading, at least as of last week. I walked over from YC last Wednesday, arrived to IG at 9:50 or so, and we were NOT held at the IG tapstiles. We were allowed to go as far as the very start of the bridge between UK and France and were held there until 10:15. They lined us up parallel to the merch shop.
Looks like a mess. The construction is not helping any of that either.
