EOM

Welcome to DIS!

Those are great rates for CR! :)

Most of the rooms have 2 queen beds and a daybed (which is a full twin size). The rooms are large, and there are two sinks in the bathroom, and a separate toilet area that closes off from the shower/sinks which is helpful with a family.

The difference between the rooms mostly lies in the location not the type of room. With the exception of concierge rooms (i think some of those can only hold 4 people instead of five) and I'm not sure if the king bed rooms have a daybed (i think they do, check with CR to be sure if you need one!)

Standard means, if I remember this right since it's been awhile since we stayed in these rooms LOL basically means a view of the parking lot. Garden view is referring to views of the playground/pools. In the tower, you can either have a MK view or Bay side view. If a MK view is very important to you be sure to request it when you make your reservation (though they won't guarantee it usually)

The ease of getting around WDW from the CR is hard to beat...it's a very 'bustling' hotel, you feel like you're right in the middle of all the action! It's my all time favorite. Especially since your trip is short, you will get a LOT out of being on the monorail track.

Hope that helps, if you have any other questions ask away! :)

We stayed in a garden Nwing standard view room in '01....LOVED IT!
Room 8031 I think, first floor , we were offered a waterview room, but actually preffered the "parking lot" standard view as we could see the castle beautifully, fireworks, and kids loved watching the monorails trains coming and going. The rooms themselves are HUGE, 2 Queen beds and a daybed, tons of ocunter and drwere space, double marble sinks and seperate room for toilet area. Also a shelf above the full length of the vanity is the bath. Decor is very bright and colorful, mod---Jetson-like...but we loved it! I have never stayed in the tower rooms but I believe they are very similar, same size. They are about 450 sq feet which is really, really nice.
All the stores, monorail entrance Chef Mickeys and concourse steakhouse are on the 4th floor of the tower, and the food court/arcade is on the first floor, along with the check -in desk, another lounge and small mail box area.
You can walk from CR to MK which is great...or take the monorail, which is fun. The pool is pretty nice, very large, and the quiet pool is relaxing. There is a nice beach area for kids to play (if you have any)tennis is available and for having 3 days, I think the location of CR is awesome! We had no trouble with bus service to MGM and AK, and loved the monorail to Epcot. Some do not care for the decor as it can come across as "cold"feeling, but we truly enjoyed it. There is not a lot of tropical lanscaping around the grounds, but the grounds are lush. We also had the friendliest ducks waitung at our patio door each a.m. looking for breakfast....my kids had a ball feeding them each day...one day 2 even decided to enter a bit into the room! I think you will enjoy your visit, we have stayed at ASMU, CBR, the Dolphin, CR and will be trying WL for the first time this Dec., I wish we were able to have a few wxtra days to add on and be at CR again...I gotta say...we just loved it there, the room size is the best! Not that we don't love the Dolphin also...and the values!
