does anyone know how someone can apply for an entry level position with Disney? The Disney career site does not list these positions (unless it is housekeeping). My son would like to apply. He has graduated high school, but this would be his first job. Any insight?

What kind of position? If it's not on the website, I imagine it's not something they're hiring for right now.

A thread like this comes up every so often - the replies are often along the lines of "you apply for a job here the same way you apply for one anywhere else"

THinking that along the lines of ride operator, front line cashier, or similar. It is his first job.

With all of the new things opening up, you would think they would be hiring those positions.

Keep checking. They do post for these positions on the career site.

Try setting up job alerts for keywords related to those jobs and following the Parks Jobs Twitter and Facebook. Most of them are listed as CP roles, has he considered applying to the College Program?

They hire every year. What they want is someone who really wants to work at Disney and is 110% flexible on hours and assignments. We knew a kid who interviewed, they would tell him what the hours were, what the job is or what the pay is, they just wanted a yes or no on the spot

They actually filled a lot of Avatar with other people from other positions that were cut across property. With that said it sounds like you are a local. You can tell him to dress nicely and put together a resume and pop by casting to ask if there is anything not on the career website that he may apply for. They may say sorry kid everything is online or they may take him in the back for an interview you never really know.
