Entry for onsite guests - Question?

Hi, can someone tell me: if you are staying onsite at WDW, do you queue to get into a park (say MK) at the same place where the non-resort guests do?

Also, what is the procedure for getting into MK? e.g. Where is the rope drop area? How do you get to this?

Hi Martina

Guests staying onsite at Disney hotels get in to the park exactly the same place as offsite guests. You do get to go in earlier to some parks on some days with the extra magic hour - but it is still through the main trurnstyles.

The difference with Magic Kingdom is that if you are onsite & take the Disney bueses from you hotel - the buses drive around to near the turnstyle area. This means you don't need to ride the monorail or the ferry boat from the carpark - which is the otherside of the lake.

If you are staying at the deluxe resorts on the monorail - you have it even easier - but you still actually go in the same place. You at walk to Magic Kingdom from the Poly of the Comtemporary if you like.

Hi All


Can anyone tell me about the transport from AKL to the parks.

Does the monorail go from AKL or the coach ?

and does it go right up to the entry gates or do we have a long walk ?

The monorail doesn't go to AKL so it would be the bus. the bus takes you closer to the entrance than a non disney resort hotel bus

Each WDW resort has a bus service for each of the parks as well as the water parks, Downtown Disney and the Ticket and Transportation Centre. Some of these routes are shared, most are exclusive.

So, to get from AKL to any of the parks you just wait for the bus to your chosen park, hop on, and it will take you right to that park's entrance plaza (or pretty close, anyway!).
