Hiya

I'm looking for some input here.. I've currently booked my wedding for next year, I'm having a custom wedding at the Wedding pavilion and the ceremony starts at 2.30. We are then looking to book the AA Parlour room for our reception. Has anyone used this location before? & what decorations have you used?
We are then going to be having an Illuminations DP at UK lower. I'm also having 2 DC's for the cake cutting and a violinist continuing on from the ceremony. Does anyone know how long the violinist plays for? I've only got a small party of 15 people including me and DF & I'm a bit worried that after we finish the meal we will be waiting around until we can go to the DP.
Does anyone have any suggestions for entertainment? We're not likely to have a DJ or anything along those lines but I don't want to be sat twiddling my thumbs. I'm sure it won't be like this but you never know..:confused3 I was thinking of hiring a pianist but don't know if they have a piano in the AA room? I'm sure someone will be able to point me in the right direction. As I haven't been allocated a WP yet so I can't ask them.

Thanks in advance
x

I would be interested in this as well cos we are a small group having a reception at ariels and we dont really want a dj. I think we will take an ipod for background music and the first dance but not sur what to do for entertainment other than that

Not that I have been given a planner yet but I have asked my consultant if it would be OK to do this.

Our wedding is at 2.30 with our pre-reception stating at 3.30. I think during this time we will be having our photos taken. When we join our guests I then want to do the cake cutting like they do with the escape weddings. And if we can also afford it have the time with the disney characters, plus taking more photos. I know they should be with you for half an hour. So our meal will be our dinner. I'm hoping that they won't rush dinner and this will take a few hours, we are having a sit down meal.

Our reception is in the GF. And I'm hoping to hire a pianist for the reception so we can have background music and have our first dance during the cake cutting.

It's a bit backward but I'm hoping it will all flow OK. Hopefully we will have a little time to relax after the meal before we are taken to Epcot.

During our site visit we looked at AA Parlour room, I don't remember seeing a piano in either room.

I think any of the musicians play for 3 hours, but can be booked longer (for a fee)

Happy Planning!
