Entertainment Schedule Questions

Starting to get nervous and need some questions answered.

1. What days do Billy Hill and the Hillbillies do their show at the Golden Horseshoe Saloon? Currently their not on the first week of June's schedule.

2. What days does the Aladdin play perform?

3. Is it possible that they would show Remember Dreams Come True for the last weekend in May and not show it the first weekend in June? And then turn around the next weekend and show Magical (the new firework show)? Has this ever happened where they don't show fireworks on a weekend that's not weather related?

4. When do the entertainment schedules firm up on the Disneyland website?

I'm looking at the park hours for the first week of June and most nights they are open till 11pm (except grad nights). This wasn't the case last year. This indicates to me that they expect it to be busy during this time....what do you think?

Well I can answer the Aladin part. It only shows on weekends due to budget cuts.
The entertainment schedule on the webiste right now is pretty firm, looks like to Fireworks at all the first weekend in June in order to prepare for the new one.

1. I did a quick click-through on the

. It looks like Billy Hill and the Hillbillies are there Th-M. T and W are the Laughing Stock. You can flip through the days and see using the link above. Whether it will change for summer starting June.... no crystal ball here and I would not rely on past year's for these entertainment groups as they are very easy for DL to change year-to-year if they want.

3. It has been a long time since DL has changed fireworks shows. Could they skp a week? Sure. Would it be more likely that they just don't put it on the schedule yet to allow themselves room for things to not quite be ready yet for the new show? That's my thought! I would guess that you would see some sort of fireworks that night, but until it hows up on a schedule, I would prepare myself for the chance that it could be a void-in-transition week.

4. It seems like the posted schedule usually posts about a month in advance.

Well I can answer the Aladin part. It only shows on weekends due to budget cuts.

FWIW, the week of May 25-29, Aladdin is showing Monday and Friday (and I assume the weekends). So the weekend is a long one.

Then again, the 25th IS the holiday, so things might be different that particular week.


OP I bet the calendar will be up soon, so I personally would try not to worry in advance about this. Figure out what your priorities will be, and then once the calendar is up you can fit the priorities into your days. It'll be up soon enough.

Of course, then they go and change it...the whole calendar for my week WAS up, and now there are these big holes in DCA's calendar...kinda weird, but I'm also happy b/c they are starting the Up! pre-parade while we are there!

Can I say I am with you KCmike? It would be some help to know if there will be any evening entertainment the second week of June...

I'm up to date with June 12 as kick off (which is when we leave!), and am resigned to the fact that there may not even be fireworks now. Don't suppose there'll be any trial runs of anything???

Day time shows etc I am not so worried about -they seem to turn up late on schedules.

2. What days does the Aladdin play perform?

Aladdin has recently been showing on Thurs., Fri., Sat, and Sun., and it's been dark on Mon., Tues., and Wed.

For early June, right now the official calendar has Aladdin showing on

Thursday, June 4
Friday, June 5
Saturday, June 6

Based on the last couple of months, it looks like Aladdin won't be shown on June 1, June 2, or June 3.


In March and April:

Aladdin has been showing on Thurs., Fri., Sat, and Sun.

(That's according to the LP calendar (link).)


In May:

The official calendar has Aladdin showing on Thurs., Fri, Sat, and Sun.

Aladdin is showing on Monday, May 25, but I think that's only because it's Memorial Day.

Oh, that is good news. We'll actually be there for the 12th and 13th, so we can catch Fantasmic and the Electrical Parade if it works right, but I was hoping the fireworks would run that first weekend, too. Now it is!

BTW, KC Mike, we're going to be at HOJO some of the same dates, I think (we're 5-14) and we're flying out of KC.
