I see on these boards that people are getting entertainment rates for next year already.

What number did ya'll call? I am trying to HRH for January 25 & 26 and they are saying the rates are not out yet.

So what's the deal?

Help Please! What number to call for rates?

Thank you!

I called the 1800-UESCAPE number, press 2. They are definitely out for 2003 so you might want to try today.

I am getting the runaround so bad!

I just called the number you gave me, (thank you by the way!)
and they are telling me that they are not out yet.

Why!?

Call again and ask them to check even if they think it isn't available. Just say you have a friend that got the rate. I was confirmed a week ago for March 2003.

I told her to check and she said no.

I am only going for 2 nights, do you think that might have something to do with it?

I have gotten the entertainment rate for 2 nights before but do you think that it has changed now and it needs to be for more than 2 night?

Thanks for your help!

Call again!!!! I don't know if the number of nights has anything to do with it. I am going for three nights and I got the rate. Call again and just ask if the number of nights is an issue. If they won't even check for you, ask to speak with a supervisor or hang up and try again.

We tried to get an Entertainment rate last week for for HRH for March and were told they were not out yet. They were out for PB so we went ahead and booked there figuring we could cancel and book at HRH when/if rates came out. I guess we can try again this week.

BTW- We booked for 2 nights.

I tried calling back. Still, no luck.

I am going to try to call HRH directly and see if that works.

Wish me luck.

And thank for helping. I feel better knowing that you booked for 2 nights also!

I finally got someone who knew what they were talking about!

She told me that I was looking for Satuday and Sunday nights.

Friday and Saturdays they aren't available yet. But I can't change when I will be there so she said to keep trying, that usually closer to the date they start to release Friday and Saturday Ent. Rates.

And I could get The Royal Pacific if I booked for at lease 3 nights.

But I think I will wait for the Hard Rock. I loved Royal Pacific but my sister and mom are going to love the Hard Rock.

Thanks for your help!

Wow! I'm glad you got that cleared up!

I booked the RP last week with the Entertainment rate for the first week in January. I was told that I had to book 3 days also. I booked Thursday thru Saturday with no problem.

I spoke to someone last week also about entertainment rates. I asked why discounts are released for what seems like every week but the one I want to travel (March 31-April 7). Apparently the computer generates the release dates for discounts. It goes back and looks at the occupency rate for the same week last year. If it was really busy then, it takes it's time releasing the discounts. The problem with that system is that Easter week this year was very early (the end of March), but does not fall until April 20th next year. I was reassured that the "error" in the system would be spotted and discounts would be released at a later date. I was also told that there are tons of vacancies for that week right now, so one would assume discounts will be offered to fill up the rooms.

Another point on the minimum night stays. I also have 4 nights booked at the PBH but was told I could only get the fan club rate if I stayed 5 nights. I booked 5 nights, and called back 2 days later to let them know I couldn't change my flight. They dropped the 5th night from my booking and still gave me the discount. I don't mean to encourage people to "work the system", but in my particular case, it made no sense for them NOT to do that. The 5 nights at the cheaper rate was less money than 4 nights at rack. I was bound and determined not to pay a cent more than I had to, so I would have paid for the 5th night if need be. This way, I get my discount, and they have their room to rent out to someone else. Do the math. If paying an extra night at the entertainment rate is still cheaper than 2 nights at rack, book it and then see if you can work something out later on. The worst that can happen is that you go back to your original 2 night ressie at rack rate.

If you don't mind answering, what rates are you getting in January of 2003 with entertainment card at HRH?

Called today and was able to access FAN CLUB and Ent. rates for RPR and HRH for June/July 2003. Called the Loews # directly (1 800-23-LOEWS).

I called last week and got Entertainment rate at HRH for 1/19-1/26. At first the CM told me nothing available for " my dates " but if I was flexible she could try other dates. We had planned to stay at POFQ from 1/17-1/23, then go to HRH. ( we had Fan Club rate of 160.00). I had asked for a stay from 1/23-1/26 with entertainment rate and was told unavailable. She had 1/19-1/21 at Entertainment rate though. I asked if we could extend until 1/26 and she said sure, no problem. The Entertainment rates are definately out. If you can be flexible on your days or add more dates try it. Maybe you could request an extra day and then go back and modify your ressie for less days. I called 1-800-BE A STAR #
