How do you go about getting the Entertainment Rate? And is it the best rate for the resorts at Universal?

To get the Entertainment rate: Just call the hotel you are interested in and ask if they have the Entertainment rate available for your dates. If they do, they will tell you the rate, and you can decide if you want to book or not. Generally yes, these are the cheapest rates you are likely to find. After you have booked the hotel, then just go to the Entertainment.com website and order a book (you won't need the card until you check in). It's that easy! A couple words of advice: Don't wait too long. Only a certain number of rooms are available at this rate, so if your quote is good I would book it right away (you can always change or cancel if needed). Also, don't assume because your hotel is not listed on their website or in one of their books that it doesn't have the Entertainment rate. Many hotels don't advertise it that way and you won't know unless you call and ask. Good luck!

If the hotel you want dosent have a room at the entertainment rate keep checking back! We wanted to stay at the Hard Rock for our recent trip, so I called the 800-be a star number (the operators at this # can check all 3 on site hotels). There were no entertainment rates for the Hard Rock on the dates we wanted but there were for Portofino Bay.

I went ahead and booked Portofino bay, but kept calling back and checking on the Hard Rock and sure enough, about 6 weeks before our trip some rooms at the entertainment rate opened up, so I changed our reservation. Keep Trying!
