If we were to take a 7-night cruise, would there be entertainment each night?

When we first started sailing, regardless of cruise line, there was a show every night after dinner. As the years have gone on, we find this is no longer the case with any of the lines.

We have not sailed Disney since 2002.

What can I expect for nightly entertainment?

Disney usually has something every night.

Each ship has one or two big shows based on a movie, like Aladdin and Frozen. Each ship also has one or two original shows that include a mix of things from various movies to tell a new story. On the other nights, there will be a magician, comedian, or some other sort of entertainer. Sometimes, if there's a big new movie out, they'll show that movie instead of featuring one of the entertainers.

A 7-night cruise might be something like this:

1: Captain America: Brave New World (movie)
2: Disney Seas the Adventure (original show)
3: The FlyBoys (musicians)
4: Jessica Jane "Mystify" Magician
5: The Ventriloquism & Comedy of Lynn Trefzger
6: Beauty and the Beast (Broadway-style show)
7: Moana (Broadway-style show)

That was the schedule for the Treasure cruise that departed on March 1.

(Though, many 7-night cruises lately don't have anything on the first night. I'm not sure why.)

There is typically something offered in the theater every night. We just returned from a 7-day Magic cruise. This was the theater schedule.

1- Magic Show
2- Twice Charmed: A Cinderella Story Musical
3- Variety Show
4- Snow White (New Live Movie)
5- Broadway Stars Singing Act
6- Tangled the Musical
7- Disney Dreams Musical

So the 3 Broadway style productions, one movie night with a new release, and 3 other acts.

ooooooo I am hopeful for your Broadway stars singing act! I thought they were only on the Treasure at this point :)

Each ship has three Disney shows, which shows vary by ship. And as others have said, the other nights are typically filled in with variety acts or maybe a movie if it's a new, big one.
