anyone got this discount book ?
and if so did you get much use out of it and the big question did you save much?

yeah i got one, bought it for discount off hotels but did'nt get the chance to use it.i will be taking a few vouchers with me for wonderworks and imax also mini golf but thats about it.other than that its full of vouchers for eating and smaller attractions in orlando, funspot, titanic ect and loads of burger and pizza chains.theres not much you cant get in those discount books that are everwhere once you get in orlando.

Yes - we used one last year and have bought one for this year too. We made quite a lot of savings with it - particularly at restaurants. I know you can get the discount books everywhere in Orlando - but my view is that the discounts in the Entertainment book tend to be better. It depends on the sort of places you want to eat - it doesn't include discounts for Ponderosa, Golden Corral etc - but you can saves $$$$s at other places e.g buy one meal, get one free at Bennigan's, Domino's Pizza, McDonalds,Waffle House and many more.

We've had one for the last 3 years. The biggest single saving was for a stay at the Portifino Bay, I'd guess the entertainment rate saved me about $250 alone for that item.
As Julie says, it's possible to pay for the cost of the book just in the fast food items. Jana and I tend to eat out at some of the higher end places, we'd eat at somewhere similar anyway and the "two for the price of one" offers probably save us $20-30 at each restaurant. It helps a lot now I live in the Orlando area to have the time to use more of the restaurant options, but I'd guess on average I saved $200-300 each year due to the book when coming on holiday and maybe a little more now I live here.

I would agree with Julie, I think it's done a lot better, you get better discounts and a wider range of options with the entertainmnet book. JMHO.
