Hi, I'm wanting to take advantage of B1G1 coupons at the following restaurants and was wondering if anyone could advise on price/ambiance/food quality, etc. Any tips appreciated!Official All Star Cafe at Disney's Wide World of Sports complex
Giraffe Cafe in Hotel Royal Plaza (Downtown Disney area)
Cafe in the Court at Radisson Resort Parkway (1.5 miles from WDW)
Arthur's 27 and The Outback Restaurant in the Wyndham Palace (Downtown Disney area)
Baskervilles in the Grosvenor (Downtown Disney area)
Jungle Jim's at Crossroads Shopping Center (Downtown Disney area)

Bonus question: if you could only eat one meal at one of the 4 D-parks or D-Resorts . . . which restaurant and for which meal?

MANY thanks in advance . . .Elaine in NM

Welcome! :)
Arthur's27 is an often overlooked terrific Gourmet Restaurant with a great view and imho great service.

JungleJims at the Crossroads will satisfy anyone's burger fix. Huge selection of burgers and other goodies.

Sorry haven't tried the other ones.

For the bonus ? you will probably get a bunch of answers. We're subtaining from this vote. ;)

Great question. I just bought the Entertainment Book online for $10.00. We will be making several trips this Fall and bought the book just for the restaurant coupons.

When I looked at the website, I saw The outback listed. After getting the book, it doesn't appear to me as if this Outback is part of the Outback chain. Am I correct on this?

That is correct....the Outback is not part of the chain.

Jungle Jims and All Star Cafe are excellent.

Arthur's is rated as one of the best restaurants in Orlando.

Enjoy!

Yes, you are correct that The Outback Restaurant is not the same as the major chain. Though I have not eaten there, I have read a few reviews that were not very good about the restaurant. We did go to the All Star Cafe before a baseball game last year and had an appetizer. It is very similar to a Hard Rock or Planet Hollywood with a sports theme. Food was fine. Like it was written earlier, Authur's 27 is a fine dining restaurant, comparable to V&A. I have been to their lounge for a drink and the view is spectacular. I am sure that you will get your monies worth. Enjoy!;)

We have eaten in Arthur's27. IMHO it is one of the untapped treasures of WDW that is very often overlooked.

Evening or business attire suggested: jackets and ties are optional.

Excerpt from Walt Disney World for Couples:
We think Arthur's 27 is the most overlooked restaurant at Disney. High atop the Wyndham Palace, Arthur's easily takes our award for best view and Arthur's is also one of the most beautiful and romantic places to dine at Walt Disney World. But there's more to Arthur's than just a pretty face. The restaurant features the wonderful cuisine of Chef Teresa Connors. On our last visit here, we enjoyed a stunning sea bass with orange buerre blanc and a fabulous appetizer of foie gras served on a hazelnut baklava. Besides an a la carte menu, Arthur's also offers two fixed-price, four- and five-course dinners. Either is the perfect way to introduce yourselves to this fine restaurant, where cuisine, service, and ambience all come together to make a perfect dining experience. For reservations at Arthur's 27, call (407) 827-3450.

Arthur's 27 sounds like a wonderful place to eat for those special times. Is the price comparable to V&A's? If so, it would definitely pay to get an entertainment book for the 2f1.

I really appreciate the enthusiasm you all displayed in responding to my question. Thanks to all for your comments. I have, in fact, ordered the Entertainment Book and now plan on dining at Arthur's 27 along with Jungle Jim's. If anyone has the Florida Key's book and wishes to "exchange" any coupons, let me know. I'm particularly interested in the Conch Train Tour coupon and any Dolphin Discovery type of coupon. Warmest regards and thanks so much once again, Elaine :Pinkbounc

Does anyone know if the Entertainment book for Orlando uses a coupon or the entertainment Card for the OUTBACK and ARTHUR's in the Wyndam Palace. If it uses the card will I be able to use my card from a book other than the Orlando book to get the discount?

I'm late on this one, but we went to Jungle Jim's a couple years ago and the food was fantastic. I got ribs, my aunt and grandma split a sandwich (horseshoe or reuben or something like that). Don't remember what everyone else got but total was around $70 for 6 adults and 1 kid and even included a couple beers (best value our whole trip).
